OBJECTIVE
Specific Objectives
-
1. Promote the health living of the youths in Kasungu and working together as youth regardless of age, ethnic origin, ability, sex, belief or political affiliation recognizing the value of our many differences
2. Involving local people and working with similar groups, exchanging information and advice with them in improving the livelihood of the youths.
3. To promote and nurture talents, to educate, encourage and support the youths on HIV/AIDS based issues by working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
4. Promoting sports, community recreation and play facilities
5. Provide under privileged children with necessary resources such as school fees.

YWT organization is mandated to various development interventions and strived to work the based on the following sub-sectors
1.Education
This department is aimed at:
a. Ensuring that the youths are having proper and effective education at all levels with no discrimination of all kind.
b. Advocating for community participation in their youth’s education.
c. Ensuring that the youths have life skills education.
2. Health
This department is aimed at:
a. Advocating for preventive health measures.
b. Educating young people on family life.
c. Advocating on reproductive health related services.
d. Bringing awareness on HIV/AIDS
3. Gender, Rights and Girl Empowerment
This department is aimed at:
a. Emphasizing on the prospect of human rights.
b. Advocating on women and young people’s rights.
c. Advocating for gender, equity and equality
4. Natural Resources and Sanitation
This department is aimed at:
a. Ensuring that people access portable water
b. Ensuring proper waste management around Kasungu Municipal and beyond.
c. Encouraging people on proper conservation of natural resources
d. Encouraging people on proper utilisation of natural resources
